GENERAL MEETING MINUTES

September 13, 2023

Meeting opened at 6:00 pm with Flag Salute

In attendance:

Board Members: Mike Mauk, Charlene Knox, Manny Hurtado

Members: Jennifer Munson (TRH), Ty Witt (TRH), Scott Graham ((TRH), Anna Marie Dalby (Keller-Williams), Miguel Campos (Nueva Gen), Elizabeth Shepard (Boys&Girls Club), Jim Labrie (Labrie Racing), Evelyn Hitsroth (LaBrie Racing),

Non-Members: Naomie Peasley, Desha Rupeiks, Jeff Harmier

Three Rivers Hospital presented us with plans for a new hospital to be built at same location. Construction will be done in phases. Levy will be in the ballet in November of this year.

Old Business

4th of July recap - P1FCU was our sponsor this year. Thanks to their donation our event insurance was covered in full without using our funds. We had a great parade and 6 vendors

in the park.

Salmon Derby recap - Mike Mauk presented the stats for the derby. Accountant is still working on books and there are several checks outstanding. Should have final recap at the October

Meeting providing everything is complete.

New Business

Halloween – P1FCU has donated for the trophies again this year.

Chamber Officer nominations – Nominations will be accepted at our next meeting (Oct 15).

Elections will be held at our annual meeting (Dec 13).

Round Table – Jim LaBrie reported King5 news showcased Brewster during the boat races. Suggestion made to have a meet & greet in downtown on Friday night before races. Disha Rupeiks asked a few questions regarding Salmon Derby. Since the chamber relinquished the derby to Mauk Fishing in 2022, this did not fall under chamber business.
