Treasurer Report: Checking- $3,694.34 Savings: $11,030.14

City Report- N/A

Police Report- Nattalie- Nothing serious to report, a few Bicycles being stole and returned.

Library Report: Rebecca- lots going on with summer here. For a full schedule check the Library web site

Boys and Girls Club: N/A

Guest Speaker: Mike Worden – Okanogan County Sheriff’s Dept gave a talk on the new bill on the ballet this year for a .02% tax to replace and upgrade the communication equipment on the Mt Tops in the area for better communication in emergencies. Everything is outdated.

Old Business: National Night out Nattalie updated us on the event. The Chamber gave away about 125 hot dogs. The Brewster Police Dept gave away 100 frisbees and it was a very successful evening. Thanks to Anna Marie, Kathy, Martin, Manny and Mike for coming out helping with the food.

North Cascades Bank Customer Appreciation Day August 2, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, the Chamber as asked if they would come serve hotdogs and Water in front and for every new account that was made that day the Chamber would receive $50.00 They had 14 new accounts totaling $700.00 for the Chamber. Thank you Anna Marie and Kathy and Mike for helping with the cooking and serving of the food.

Mike Steele: Anna Marie had a meeting with Mike Steele in Chelan. He gave suggestions on how to bring businesses together and other things that we will discuss at a board business meeting soon.

Anna Marie presented Mike Mauk with a plaque for his Service and Dedication to the Brewster Chamber of Commerce 2nd Annual Cherries Jubilee

Chamber Board Business Meeting is August 22, 2019 7:00 pm at Anna Marie’s office Roni with Okanogan Economic Alliance told us a few things going on, one is the Okanogan County Career Connections EXPO Oct 29,2019 and also Gene will be in Pateros at the Mall with the investors network at 5:00 Friday will be very informing and helping businesses small and large.
